Start or end the day with a walk around our iconic Mount Maunganui Summit. Mount Maunganui Summit track is the most popular activity in the area. As such, the track is well maintained and safe to walk. It takes a little over 1 hour to walk from Baywatch Motor Inn on Maunganui Road around the Mount Base Track and back. Add on 45 minutes if you want to walk to the top and take in the stunning panoramic views of Mount Maunganui.
